More than twenty years at the heart of Hunsdon.
James and Bianca met at school, so their partnership began long before the Fox & Hounds.
They dreamed of opening their own place, fell for this striking village pub and restored it into the relaxed restaurant and freehouse it is today. Their close partnership still shapes everything: serious food, an easy welcome and a team that cares.

Classical experience. An instinctive kitchen.
James began cooking at fifteen and went on to work with Gary Rhodes and Alastair Little, as well as at the Roux Brothers’ Lake Placid Lodge. He became head chef at Tom Conran’s The Cow before opening the Fox & Hounds.
Today, that experience appears in food that feels polished but never overworked.
